Steps To Record A Virtual Consultation

Smile Virtual lets all the dentists on the platform record virtual consultations for their patients. Follow these simple steps to get started:

Step 1 - Log in to Smile Virtual with your login credentials and go to the ‘Dashboard’ page located in the Menu bar. All the patients who have signed up with your Smile Virtual landing page URL will appear here. Now, you can click the ‘View Profile’ button for any desired patient to view the patient profile and record the virtual consultation.

Step 2 - On the patient profile page, we will be able to view all the patient information like close-up images of the teeth, selfie, about patient, phone number, email, postal code, etc. We need to click on the ‘Select Cases to Share’ button located below in this page to proceed to the next steps.

Note: There is a section in the patient profile page called ‘Doctor Note’, where the dentists can keep a note about the patients. Remember, these notes won’t be visible to the patients. This section is just for the doctor's reference.

• Once clicked on ‘Select Cases to Share’ button, we will be able to view all the pre-uploaded case images and can select all the applicable case images to share with the patient. 

• After confirming the case images for the patient, on the next page, we will be able to set the treatment recommendations details for the patient like treatment name(s), number of appointments & investment amount.

• After clicking on the ‘Confirm Recommendations’ button, On the next page, we will be able to review & edit all the added information by the dentist. We can click on the ‘View Patient Landing Page for Recording’ button located below in this page to proceed to the next steps.

• After clicking on ‘View Patient Landing Page for Recording’ button, we will be given an option to record a video consultation. We can either select the ‘Screen only’, ‘Camera only’ or ‘Screen & Camera’ options to record the video. 

• After recording the video consultation, we can review the video and click on the ‘Send to Patient’ button to share the virtual consultation with the patient.

Note: There is also a delete button available on this page. We can delete the video and record the video consultation again to send it to the patients
